we went Horseback riding today!! 1st time on a horse for a Shalay! She's a natural ! her horse's name was Sampson, Sarah's was Cracker and mine was Pat (Patricia!) We rode western.. I normally ride English but Western is ok! Especially for a first timer..!

Not the best video in the world bc it was nighttime, but this was a demolition derby with about 10 cars ! lots of fun destroying cars ! Last one running is the winner! if you click on the bottom right hand corner of video you can view it full screen.. MUCH better that way

this is a 1/4 mile oval track about 30 min from our home. Nascar's Modified's race every Sat night here, along with the famous figure 8's race!

Seagulls were following the boat waiting for the chance to steal ANYTHING!! They are known to take food right out of your hands and will even take your live bait!! beautiful birds though!!

one of our fish.. only about 4-5 lbs.. blues can be "fishy" so you have to know how to cook them.. and I do!! So dinner for me tomorrow!

Today David and I went fishing on a charter boat, The Island Princess, from 6pm to 10 pm. First time salt water fishing for David! He caught 1 blue fish, 1 sea Robin and 1 flounder.. the sea Robin is a fish that you can not eat! so its an automatic throwback.. the flounder was way to small.. we kept the blue.
I caught 4 blues (2 were right at the boat & as I was pulling them up they got off my line :( ) i also got 2 flounders but they were also too small.. too soon for them! in Aug, Sept is when the fish have really gotten to good keepable size!

The day it all started!!

Our summer started on Saturday 6/12 with Me and Nicole going to get David and Shalay in SC. we drove down the jeep with not one problem! I even got some sleep! Then we met our family, had breakfast and headed back up to NY only now there are 3 kids with me!! We had some engine trouble after about an hour.... I let the car cool down, tapped off the water, and drove another 150 miles with no trouble.. but then BAM... engine blew!! Oh boy, so we get a hotel room for the night and hubby drives 10 hrs to get us!! (our Hero!) he drives the whole night through and we are back on the road again by 7:30 am... after a few hrs of driving.. we get an inside rear tire flat that wont come lose and even thou it does no "harm" it slows us down a bit more and it is quite annoying with all the noise!! when all is said and done, we arrive home by about 7:30 pm.. and we all hit the sack pretty easily .. home sweet home!!

they had a BLAST!! Notice how at first David was standing on the beach in his boots and jeans.... He even checked out the water in his boots???!!! He soon adapted to his surroundings and took of those pants and boots!! THEN I couldn't get them OUT OF THE WATER!! absolutely beautiful day!!
